Bitcoin Lightning fees, in three numbers.
0.1% to swap bitcoin and fiat. 0.5% network/withdrawal markup. 0.1% to pay a bill. No monthly fee, no inactivity fee, no FX markup on the Bitcoin Visa card. That's the whole price list.
Why the price list is this short
Most Bitcoin apps hide fees inside the exchange spread — you see "no fees" in the marketing and pay 1–2% on every trade in worse pricing. Lightning Pay quotes one rate, then executes at the real market mid: 0.1% to swap between BTC, USDC, USDT and fiat, with no spread games.
The 0.5% network markup covers Lightning routing and bank-withdrawal rails (via our partner Strike). It applies once, on withdrawals — not on every wallet-to-wallet Lightning payment, which is essentially free.
On the Bitcoin Visa card, the same 0.1% + 0.5% applies at the point of sale and that's it. No monthly fee, no inactivity fee, 0% FX markup when you spend abroad. Bill pay (rent, utilities, mortgage, taxes) is a flat 0.1% to a real biller.
